A bad week for the PM

The Prime Minister - and the Downing Street machine - have had a bad week. It started with the Cash for Access scandal after the Tory party's former treasurer was caught offering meetings with David Cameron for hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Just as that began to die down, the Government was accused of sparking petrol panic across the UK by offering conflicting advice. Some - including the Prime Minister himself - have urged motorists to fill up when possible, ahead of any possible strike.
Minister Francis Maude suggested keeping petrol in a jerrycan in the garage. Twenty-four hours later and Mr Maude still hasn't apologised - even though the Fire Brigade's Union says it would be dangerous to store fuel like this.
Some garages across the UK have now run out of fuel. The Retail Motor Industry said the Government has helped make a crisis out of nothing - the strike can't even happen for at least another week.
And if that wasn't bad enough, the PM walked straight into pastygate after his gaffe on where he ate his last pasty. It turned out the outlet he named has in fact been closed for 5 years.
Number 10 are furious at the way things have turned out. Surely nothing else can go wrong - can it?
