Lady Gaga joins forces with Oprah Winfrey

With the help of daytime talk show legend Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga launched her Born This Way Foundation in Harvard University in front of eleven thousand ecstatic fans.

It's mission if to foster a more accepting society which embraces individualism and celebrates difference. Founded as a response to the global reaction to her hit song she wants to forge a movement to help tackle online bullying.

Gaga says on her site: "We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe, to be empowered and to make a difference in the world. Together, we will move towards acceptance, bravery and love."
