9 things we learnt on day 4
The LoveSquare™ between Lucie, Amber, Joe and Tommy didn't show any signs of rounding off, and Anton got Sherif's back up by cracking on with Anna with factor 50 commitment. The awkward flirting chats flying around the villa, and a massive text in the shape of a stunning new arrival had the Islanders shook. But will sparks fly between Tommy and Molly-Mae? Here's what we learnt on day 4.
1. Lucie and Amber won’t be BFFs anytime soon
It takes a bold person to take on Amber, and we couldn’t believe what we were seeing when Lucie low key bowled into the middle of her and Joe’s flirty chat and pulled him away.
HERE. FOR. THIS.
2. Even Tommy makes mistakes!
The world’s smoothest Islander narrowly avoided a white jumper disaster when a particularly fizzy can of beer almost got the better of him. Anything but the jumper!
3. Michael and Sherif are all of us observing the LoveSquare™
Joe talks to Amber. Lucie talks to Joe. Lucie looks at Tommy, and then back at Joe. Tommy wants another chat with ALL of them, and Michael and Sherif are just enjoying the drama. "This is juicy!" shrieked Michael. You said it.
4. Curtis and Amy almost missed their movie moment
After a very odd conversation involving bad jokes, olives, picnics, and … well, we’re still not quite sure what, we thought Curtis had missed his moment for a romantic first kiss with Amy. “It did not go to plan at all, so I feel a bit like a t***,” he confessed in the Beach Hut. But later, after the lights were out and all of our Islanders were safely tucked up in bed, the magical first snog happened. Yay!
5. Operation Double A is GO
"I'm going factor 60!" Anton declared to the guys after deciding very excitedly that he was going to crack on with Anna, much to Sherif - and Anna's - surprise.
6. Anton boosting Yewande's confidence gave us the feels
In a chat with Anton, Yewande aired some of her insecurities around having no-one to flirt with. "I just feel like if someone does come in here, their first pick is going to be Lucie and Amber," she told him. "When I'm back home I'm usually girls' first pick," he replied, telling her: "In here, I've had a few pies. But I don't care - it doesn't mean I'm a bad looking guy. You just need to feel the same because you're a cracking girl and a good looking girl and there's no need to think like that."

7. We're mesmerised by Lucie's fruit eating methods
Two whole fruits on the go at the same time... is this a thing?
8. Tommy is a Hannah Montana Stan
Not only does Tommy claim he's a Hannah Montana fan, he's got the lyrical knowledge to back it up. There might have been a few dud notes in his rendition of The Climb, but we're willing to look past it because that was 100% pure commitment.
9. Molly-Mae is ready to play
She's not uttered a single word yet but your votes decided that Tommy would be enjoying a hot tub date with new Islander Molly-Mae. Bring on the bubbles...
