8 things we learnt on day 3

Our tasty little love triangle didn't show any signs of working itself out on day 3, as Lucie tried to keep Joe sweet while also getting to know Tommy. Amber threw her hat in the ring for a bit of Joe as well, and Tommy also did a little bit of grafting her way. Confused yet? Us too. Don't worry though, Curtis and Amy are giving us all the hope of a blossoming romance. Here's what we learnt on day 3.

1. Anton gives surprisingly good advice

He's a gym buff with a self-diagnosed wandering eye, but when it comes to his mates, Anton's got a wise head on those sculpted shoulders. Comforting a gutted Joe after THAT recoupling, he reasoned with the sandwich man: "Obviously it’s hard for him coming in as well. And he’s not a bad guy. At all. And at the end of the day you just need to have the trust within Lucie."

Sounds good, doesn't it?

2. Bro code applies VERY quickly

Discussing the evening's dramatic events, Callum and Anton suddenly felt a bit better about their single status. Anton's the newest member of the lonely hearts club, while Callum's romance with Amber is all but ice cold. "I think between me, you and Mike it’s kind of similar types. It’s a little bit of a problem," remarked Anton.

"Don’t lose our friendship over it though mate," replied Callum, to which Anton insisted: "No, never lose friendship. Never, ever, ever."

Let's come back to this when they're fighting over a fittie, shall we?

3. Hearts can be... tickled?

Lucie was feeling a little tense on her date with Tommy, and wanted to scope out the boxer's motives for choosing to couple up with her before she left Joe behind. "I kind of heard that you were between me and Amber," she remarked, to which our northern nice guy replied: "She’s a lovely girl but she didn’t tickle my heart like you did." Riiiight. To be honest we weren't really listening anyway. Far too busy getting lost in those eyes.

4. We’re SO here for Curmy...

This real life Disney movie is unfolding before our very eyes, and we're here for it.

5. ...and also his bedhead

Just when you thought he couldn't get any more pure.

6. The villa is smaller than it looks

It may be a luxurious place to spend your summer, but news travels fast around the villa, and Tommy looked visibly gutted when his eavesdropping of Lucie and Joe's conversation turned to how she didn't fancy him as much as Joe. Ouch.

7. We're not quite sure what's happening here...

...But whatever it is, we want in on it.

8. Sherif is all of us on hump day

Is it Thursday yet?
