'It's like being on a movie set' on Coronation Street
It's like being on a movie set this is innit?
Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn joins Lorraine to chat about her character Sinead Tinker's involvement in the horrific mini bus crash storyline that rocks the street this month. The Street has had no end of drama following the wedding last week - and it's been exciting for the cast to film she admitted.
When she started out on the Street two years ago, Katie's friends were startled by her character's dowdy look.
She said: "I was 17 and had bright blonde long hair like Barbie and then they cut my hair really short, dyed it a horrible brown colour and put grease in. My friends said aren't you worried being on TV like that but I was just pleased I got the part."
Next week Katie will be dolling herself up for the National Television Awards however she admits she is still on the hunt of an outfit!
"I've got a few days, I'll sort it," she quipped.
