Coronation Street’s Ben Cartwright on Bethany Platt grooming storyline

Ahead of tomorrow’s Coronation Street double bill, which sees Bethany Platt’s grooming storyline come to an explosive conclusion, actor Ben Cartwright - who plays policeman Neil Clifton in the soap - joins Lorraine on the sofa.

As well as praising the soap for tackling such an important issue, Ben tells Lorraine about the reservations he had taking the role, and his real-life experience with fans of the show.
