Stars of Book Club Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen talk sex and body confidence!
STARS OF BOOK CLUB TALK SEX AND BODY IMAGE WITH STACEY SOLOMON AND NADIA SAWALHA
Our Stacey and Nadia jetted to LA recently to talk to to the cast of hilarious new movie Book Club - Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen.
And naturally the conversation was centred around sex, relationships, friendship and body image.
'I'm kind of intimidated by this movie, [people] having this much sex! Is there much hope for me when I get older?' asked Stacey
'Of course,' Candice, 72, said. 'That's what this movie is about.'
'It's important to say, for our audience of a certain age, there's no reason you have to have sex, it should be a choice!' Jane, 80, added. 'If you choose to close up shop at a certain point down there then that's fine too.'
'The screens are huge right, so the faces are enormous,' Jane said of 'older people's love scenes' in movies. 'And you don’t particularly enjoy watching wrinkled lips kissing each other! It's an aesthetic, there are sags under the arm waving back on forth. You don’t think about that when you’re young! That said I think we all look really good in this movie.'
Watch the video above to find out what Jane, Diane, 72, Candice and Mary, 65, said about sex and body confidence.
And while we were there, we caught up with the men starring in the movie too - Don Johnson, Andy Garcia and Craig T. Nelson!
Watch the exclusive video below to see our chat with the guys - and find out if Don has watched his daughter Dakota Johnson in Fifty Shades of Grey!
Book Club is out in the UK on 1 June 2018.
