JADA PINKETT SMITH ON MOVIES, MOTHERHOOD AND MARRIED LIFE
She's starred in Magic Mike XXL, Gotham and Madagascar - and now Jada is smashing box office records with her new, feel good movie Girls Trip.
And Jada joined Coleen, Janet, Stacey and Linda to talk about identity and family life after 20 years of marriage to Will Smith - and ended up being our very own life coach!
On keeping your identity when you become a mum...'Being a mother, when your kids are very young it's all about them. You kind of lose your focus and you lose your lady mojo.'
Women's roles in Hollywood...'We have a lot more women behind the scenes in Hollywood. We have a lot more directors, writers, producers and CEOs who understand the female journey and women can be funny - women can be anything. It seems that slowly but surely we're getting the opportunities we deserve.'
Being married to Will Smith...'We celebrate 20 years of marriage this year. It's incredible for anybody. Secret? I think it's just friendship. You have to be friends. And you have to be able to go off and find your own happiness. You need two people who are willing to come together as happy people. And then you together in your partnership and heighten the happiness. We work hard at it. It's the hardest thing you'll ever do is being married.'
