1) John's attempt to get the last flag in The QuestStakes were high as John, Rita and James set off on The Quest to win 11 flags so that the whole Camp could enjoy a delicious feast.
They had overcome the hardest challenges and had one last hurdle to overcome - the zipwire!Rita and James both grabbed a flag each and the pressure was all on John to bag the final flag!He was so very close but unfortunately missed it and they ended up with 10/11 flags. We were gutted for them!
2) Emily in The Viper Pit Trial The first Bushtucker Trial of the series had us all on the edges of our seat as Emily faced more than 50 snakes and one very agitated Jungle Python.
Emily was off to a brave startBut this Jungle python took a disliking to Emily, immediately going straight for her hand and even gave her a little biteIt was terrifying watching Emily trapped in the final chamber for five torturous minutes surrounded by snakes! She managed to bag 9 stars for Camp and an upgrade to Croc Creek!
3) Nick and Noel in Catch A Falling Star Suspended high above the Jungle floor, Nick and Noel faced a tough Trial which had us all tense and hoping that the stars would align.
It took some serious communication and concentration even though they were covered in tens of thousands of crittersDec and Holly sum up how we felt about this whole TrialThe boys won themselves 5 stars for Camp and glad they were back on solid ground
4) Fleur in Rotten Retrieval All of Fleurs fears were put to the test in Rotten Retrieval and despite John's sprained ankle he also endured the tough Bushtucker Trial trapped with a ton of Jungle critters. It was a very stressful watch, time was not on Fleur's side and you could cut the tension with a knife.
Dark tunnels. Confined spaces. Deep water. Tons of critters. Fleur faced it all. Time was running out for Fleur and with only 20 seconds to go she was finally onto her last starWe felt like we aged 100 years but so happy for Fleur and John's triumphant 7 stars!
5) James in Ding Dong Merrily Up HighA dramatic and very festive Bushtucker Trial had us all in suspense as Fleur and James balanced high above the Jungle floor in search of stars.
Green ants and wobbly planks for Father Christmas and a blindfolded RudolphIt was certainly a Christmas spectacular as James jumped off the plank in the hope to reach the final star......but just missed and dramatically dropped down into the Jungle! Poor Rudolph!
