8 things we learnt from Day 15

At first we thought we were just sitting down for some much needed entertainment, but we ended up going through quite an educational journey. Here's what we learnt about ourselves (and the Campmates) during last night's show...

1. Absence makes the heart grow fonder

“I will miss Lisa, she’s a friend already and will therefore become a bit of my life and hopefully I will become a little bit of her life,” said Larry after the second Jungle exit. Awwww.

2. But a warm hammock makes the heart grow even fonder

We’re not making any grave comparisons, but Wayne was awfully quick to jump in Lisa’s bed.

3. There’s a science to eating biscuits

You know those calendar wheels you can get which let you know when certain fruits and vegetables are in season? Well, Scarlett’s got the biscuit version nailed. Shudder at the thought of dunking a custard cream in winter.

4. Everyone has had a Sliding Doors moment

In Carol’s alternate world, she’s a fighter pilot, while Adam is a dancer in his. What would you be if fate hadn't intervened?

5. We’ll need Larry to whip us back into shape in the new year

We’re happy hibernating on the couch for the moment but come January, we’re really gonna need some muscle motivation. Get the fitness DVD sorted quick, Larry.

6. Crocodile feet taste like chicken

Predictably. “Bit of coriander on top and you’ll think you’re at KFC,” said Larry. Yum.

7. A vicarious trip to the pub is almost as good as the real thing

We couldn’t possibly contemplate a night out on a Monday (not when I’m A Celebrity… is on anyway) but watching the Campmates get merry at the Jungle Arms was almost as good as the real thing.

8. Our commute isn't really all THAT bad

We might’ve had our head in a stranger’s stinky pit on the train this morning but at least there wasn't a python on the line, right? Small mercies.
