6 things we learnt on Day 21
Jungle The Musical lit up our screens as our Celebs put on an incredible performance and we learnt that it doesn't get much tougher than the Celebrity Cyclone...
1. Hot chocolate gave the Campmates a sugar rush
Another day, another interesting fact to learn about Harry Redknapp!
Last night we found out that Harry had NEVER tried hot chocolate before... The sweet treat left him feeling a bit worse for wear: 'I bounced around all night, I must have turned around 100 times!’
John also felt an impact from the sugary deliciousness: ‘The hot chocolate kind of put us all in a little bit of a tailspin.’ Next time we'll just leave them with rice and beans...
2. Our Celebs love a speedy shower
John has got his shower routine down to a T - he's in and out of the freezing waterfall in no time.
But when it came to Emily, her hope of facing the frosty shower at her own pace was quickly demolished when John dragged her in! The blood-curdling screams had James asking, ‘Does she need to make this much noise?’
3. The Celebrity Cyclone is about as tough as it gets
Balls, water and Celebs were flying EVERYWHERE during this belter of a Trial.
It all started off with a bang as Harry was handed his star and revealed he needed a wee... his timing really is something else! Dec responded, 'You can't wee Harry, you can't wee.'
John's ankle sprain left him assisting on the sidelines laughing as the other Campmates were blown away... He revealed, ‘I have to admit I threw a few balls in myself!’
As a flood of water washed all the Celebs off their stars, Fleur dragged Harry by the cape to get them back. Holly said, ‘It’s like she’s taking a dog for a walk.’
4. Choc Ices have never been so delicious
Fleur used her superhero senses and was first to get her hands on the cold, chocolatey goodness, with Emily in close second finding hers by the Dunny.
Instead of continuing to look for John and Harry's choc ice's Emily admitted, ‘I just stopped and had a chill and ate mine.’
The clock was ticking as John and Harry tried to find theirs before they turned into a puddle. It wasn’t without distractions as John spotted not an ice cream... but a rat in the bath and stopped the search to rescue it! Emily said, ‘By the time it took for John to save the rat I’d already eaten mine and found his Choc Ice in the tree house!’
5. Our Campmates know how to put on a show
From singing to rapping to interpretive dancing, Jungle The Musical really did have it all…
John's risky dance move has to be the highlight: 'Whenever I want to impress somebody I just lift my leg. You’re lucky I didn’t fart!’
Our Campmates really are getting into the Christmas spirit, and they had a merry sing-song while preparing dinner. 'Joy To The World' and 'Ding Dong Merrily on High' were the big hitters, but Emily was struggling to get in the mood: ‘It’s a bit hard to be festive when you’re sweating over a kangaroo.’
6. The Celebs shared their best and worst Jungle moments...
There's no better place for a heart to heart than around the campfire and our Celebs did just that as they opened up about their Jungle journeys.
Emily's loved the experience as whole saying: 'It's been so rewarding for me in so many ways. It’s changed my life.’
The night singing and dancing at The Jungle Arms was Fleur's fave moment: ‘Honestly one of the best memories of my life. Period.’
Faabulouus John has gained a lot from his time in Camp, 'One of my fears is being in a confined space in water. And I overcame it.’
Harry then went and inspired us all: 'You're gonna have your ups and downs, and it's how you cope with them downs and come back stronger and find your way back.' Some great words of wisdom from good old Hazza.
