10 things we learnt from Day 13
Day 13 might be unlucky for some, but it was one lucky day in the Jungle. Not only did Wayne take on a brutal Bushtucker Trial and bag 12 stars for Camp (there was a huge crocodile, say no more) Camp also learnt nobody was getting the boot... for now. Take a look at all the top learnings from Day 13...
1. Martin's not afraid of a public display
Everyone knows you've got to change into your best shorts and t-shirt before appearing on live TV, and that's exactly what Martin did... just in front of everyone. It certainly lifted spirits before the first eviction anyway!
2. There's a rumble in the Jungle
Larry snapped at Martin on Day 12, and he snapped a little more at him yesterday - all over drawing two flimsy straws for the next Bushtucker Trial. Could this be the final straw? It was certainly the straw that broke the camel's back (there's just too many straw pun opportunities right now).
3. Team work makes the dream work
Indiana Jones, eat your heart out! Martin saved the day and helped Scarlett get over her fears of small spaces by holding her hand and guiding her through the Dingo Dollar challenge. If that wasn't heroic enough, he then went all the way back and did it again (not out of choice, they foolishly forgot the Dingo Dollars).
4. Camp has a new President...
Your votes in the I'm A Celebrity... app made Joel the new Camp President, and doesn't he look very presidential indeed!
5. Adam should NOT be trusted as VP
This schemer is out for revenge. Who's up for dunny duties? He has a few people in mind. Will Adam bring down Camp one by one, or will Joel put him in his place? Don't know about you, but we think Joel's got this.
6. Ant and Dec have banned "SMASHED IT!"
"He smashed it in the Trial""I smashed it, lads!""You're gonna smash it today!"
Basically, there's too much smashing going on for this pair. Will the ban last? We've got a feeling we'll hear those words again pretty soon...
7. Wayne SMASHED IT!
Sorry Ant and Dec, but if anyone braves it through cobwebs, toads, critters and a huge crocodile, we're letting them have it!
8. Scarlett was far too excited to meet Kiosk Keith
And then he broke her heart when he slammed shut the shutters of the Outback Shack without a care in the world. He can be a cruel, cruel kiosk owner at times. Shame on you, Keith!
9. Did anybody else notice how Martin pronounced houmous?
Just when you thought it was hard enough to spell (houmous/hummus?) Martin dropped the "Hoomus" bomb. HOO-mus? What's hoomus? Have WE been saying it wrong all our lives?
10. Wayne's a bit of an over-sharer...
So Wayne was talking about you know what and how it changes once you've, you know. But he wouldn't stop talking about you know what and the Camp didn't know what to say. You know?
What twists and turns will Day 13 bring? Will any more straws be mentioned? Will Larry snap again? Oh, and who will be the next Campmate saying their goodbyes? Apps at the ready, the power is in your hands tonight at 9pm on ITV.
