10 things we learnt from Day 10

It's official, we're into double figures already. Day 10 came at us faster than Adam sprinting away from a clutter of jumping spiders, and boy have we learnt a lot! From newly-crowned Royals and their Jungle subjects, to the perils of performing a comedy routine in the Outback, here's all the things we learnt from Day 10...

1. We have four new Camp Royals

Please be upstanding for Wayne, Adam, Sam and Martin, the lucky four Royals who secured a throne at Snake Rock leaving the others, or as they're now known, their humble servants, back in Camp on Jungle rations. Don't they look comfy? Wait until they find out their throne isn't secure and there's more Bushtucker Trials on the way! You didn't think we'd make a battle for immunity THAT easy did you?

2. The Campmates want Martin to SHUT UP

If being trapped in boxes filled with mud crabs, snakes, mealworms and a fair few thousand cockroaches wasn't bad enough, the Campmates also had to maintain composure while Martin tried to encourage them with words of support and comfort. Their response? SHUT UP MARTIN!

3. Singing 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble' will not help you through a Bushtucker Trial

No matter how much Joel wants it to.

4. Snakes can be such a fashion statement

While Danny took deep breaths and tried to remain cool, calm and collected, he had no idea the Jungle Pythons were merely acting as a lovely warming snood* - perfect for any sudden Camp chills or when you want to give that red gilet some extra oomph!

*We do not recommend using snakes or any other animal for your fashion needs.

5. A nice warm bed makes EVERYTHING better

(The bed covers are pretty questionable, but who's going to complain after sleeping on the Jungle floor for 10 days?)

6. The Royals are already on a power trip

One taste of the Jungle high life and the Royals can't get enough. Well, Adam and Martin anyway.

How did Martin feel about having servant Danny at his every beck and call?

We thought as much.

7. Dear the Royal Variety Performance, we've just found your next act!

Scarlett and Ola on the dance floor, Danny as the host with the most and Joel bringing all the laughs. What could go wrong? On the topic of laughs...

8. Never perform a stand-up comedy routine in front of Sam

Adam, on the other hand...

As Joel put it, Adam was "losing his tiny Northern mind." At least he was speaking in standard English this time.

9. A letter from your Dad is sometimes all you need

After cooking up some top Bushtucker and putting on a cracking performance for the Royals, the Jungle servants were rewarded with two of their luxury items - one of which was Jordan's. His smile, the way he clutched the box so tightly as he read his father's words - it was all just too much for our delicate souls on a Wednesday eve!

10. The Bush Brewery awaits tonight!

Fancy a schooner down the local brewery? You voted for Martin and Adam to save their places as Royals! The servants decided that Ola and Joel will be battling it out with them for the chance to perch their pretty little bottoms on the throne instead. Will the servants triumph tonight? The battle for immunity continues, tonight at 9pm on ITV.
