Phones For Food

As part of ITV’s Tackle Hunger Together initiative, Good Morning Britain is launching its Phones For Food campaign to help give free, nutritious breakfasts to hungry school children across the UK through school breakfast clubs working with the charity Magic Breakfast.

Over one million kids currently go to school without having any breakfast and many are too hungry to learn. Eating a healthy breakfast helps to improve a child's concentration, behaviour, attendance, punctuality and educational attainment.

Magic Breakfast already feeds more than 22,000 children each morning, but they have a sizeable, ever growing waiting list of schools requesting urgent food aid. It costs just 22p to give a child a breakfast from the charity and with your help we want to give them the chance to open up more school breakfast clubs across the UK.

We're asking you to donate your unwanted mobile phones to us so we can recycle them and turn them into healthy breakfasts through school breakfast club charity Magic Breakfast. For each phone we will get at least two breakfasts for a child in a breakfast club across the country and in most cases much more. With your help we can solve the problem of child hunger in the morning for good

The Phones For Food campaign runs from 5 – 30 October
