Two thirds of missing adults are men

Someone is recorded as missing in the UK every two minutes, according to the latest figures from the National Crime Agency's UK Missing Persons Bureau.

89% of missing incidents are resolved within 48 hours, according to figures in 2012/13.

Today we focus our attention on missing adults - specifically men, as substantially more adult males (about two thirds) are reported missing every year in comparison to females.

Today we look at the story of Bill Andrews who has returned after going missing for 20 years, and we speak to lifestyle doctor and former GP Dr Chidi Ngwaba, to find out why men are more likely to go missing, and what can be done to help them.
