Two thirds of missing adults are men
Someone is recorded as missing in the UK every two minutes, according to the latest figures from the National Crime Agency's UK Missing Persons Bureau.
89% of missing incidents are resolved within 48 hours, according to figures in 2012/13.
Today we focus our attention on missing adults - specifically men, as substantially more adult males (about two thirds) are reported missing every year in comparison to females.
