Simon Cowell opens up to Susanna Reid

If mum was watching me now, swearing on the show, she would have given me a whack

In an exclusive interview ahead of the Judges' Houses this weekend, The X Factor's Simon Cowell tells Susanna Reid how he still talks to his late mum and dad, and says that this helps him to cope with the grief.

The music mogul also signals a possible return to the show of Louis Walsh as a fifth guest judge, and admits that he doesn't think he has the winner in this year's Overs category.

''When he was on the show, I'd always have people complaining about him, now he's gone, I've got people asking why he's not there,'' Cowell told Good Morning Britain.

A #BringLouisBack poll revealed that 82 per cent of Good Morning Britain viewers want to see our favourite Irishman return to the show.
