Jonathan Ashworth: 'Of course we would use our nuclear armouries'
Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth has told Good Morning Britain that a Labour government would be "prepared to use our nuclear weapons" in the event of an attack.
On to talk about Labour's announcement that they would immediately halt the proposed closure of A&Es in England and carry out a full scale review of all proposals, he told us they "would take the decisions necessary to protect this country" when pressed on use of nuclear armouries.
Watch him discuss his plans to scrap the Conservatives' sustainability plans for the NHS plus the moment he finally gave us an answer regarding nuclear arms after Diane Abbott refused to on yesterday's show.
